We’re partnering with a growing organization to identify a Workforce Administration Manager to lead critical HR operations. This is a high-impact role overseeing payroll, benefits, and HR administration, with exposure to leadership and the ability to drive process improvements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the details while also influencing strategy—a true operator who can keep systems running smoothly while improving how things get done.

What You’ll Own

Benefits & Total Rewards

  • Manage and enhance employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness)
  • Lead open enrollment and serve as key point of contact for vendors and brokers
  • Analyze utilization and recommend improvements to cost and employee experience
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (ACA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.)

Payroll & HR Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll in partnership with an external provider
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across multi-state operations
  • Partner with finance on payroll reporting and accounting alignment
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS systems and employee data integrity

Union & Labor Support (Nice-to-Have)

  • Support compliance with collective bargaining agreements
  • Assist with union-related payroll items and reporting
  • Partner cross-functionally on reporting, audits, and labor-related initiatives

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure HR, payroll, and benefits processes meet all regulatory requirements
  • Review key filings and reports (e.g., ACA, 5500s, payroll taxes)
  • Conduct audits and identify opportunities for process improvement

Employee Experience

  • Act as a go-to resource for employees on payroll, benefits, and HR policies
  • Develop clear, user-friendly communication around HR programs

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience across HR operations, payroll, and benefits
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and HR systems
  • Experience working with or alongside outsourced payroll providers
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
