Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Bucharest, Romania. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial statement preparation, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies. Additional responsibilities include preparing tax returns, assisting with audits, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Financial Statements Preparation, Account Reconciliation, and General Ledger Management
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll Management
- Advanced knowledge of Tax Compliance and Regulation, Budgeting, Financial Analysis, and Audit Procedures
- Proficiency in Accounting Software, ERP Systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent Analytical Skills, Detail-Oriented Mindset, and Problem-Solving Abilities
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to Collaborate with Internal Teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
