The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a driven, commercially-minded individual to join us on the ground floor and become a foundational member of our team. We are looking for a Sales & Growth Specialist who will be the engine of our early-stage growth. Your primary mission will be to put AIBODY on the map, acting as our “feet on the ground” to drive direct sales and generate revenue.
However, this is more than just an individual contributor role. As a key early commercial hire, you will act as a "player-coach." You will be expected to not only lead by example in closing deals but also take on the critical responsibility of building our sales and commercial function from scratch. Your Mission (Player-Coach Responsibilities)
Your focus will be dual-track: executing on immediate revenue goals while simultaneously laying the groundwork for a scalable commercial organization.
The "Player" – Execution & Revenue Generation
- Drive Direct Sales: You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to product demonstrations and closing deals. Your primary targets will be higher education institutions and hospitals.
- Generate Numbers: This is a results-oriented role. Meeting and exceeding your individual sales targets is absolutely critical for our company’s success.
- Be the Face of AIBODY: Represent the company at conferences and trade shows, engaging with potential customers and building our brand presence.
- Master the Product: Develop a deep understanding of the AIBODY platform and our new educational modality to effectively communicate its value in a consultative manner.
- Gather Market Intelligence: As our frontline representative, you will provide invaluable feedback from customers and the market to help shape our product and commercial strategy.
The "Coach" – Building the Commercial Function
- Build the Sales Playbook: Document your successful strategies, creating the foundational sales processes, scripts, and methodologies that will scale as we grow.
- Recruit & Build the Team: Play a central role in identifying, interviewing, and hiring future members of the sales and commercial team.
- Train & Enable: Develop onboarding materials and conduct training for new hires, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.
- Lead & Manage: Transition into a management role, providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to your growing team.
- Establish Systems: Work with leadership to implement and optimize our CRM and other sales technologies to support a growing organization.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a sales role in healthcare education, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience or strong aptitude for recruiting, training, and managing sales professionals.
- Experience selling to the higher education and/or hospital markets is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in an early-stage startup environment where processes are being built from scratch is a significant advantage.

Compensation
$100,000 – $120,000 per annum + generous commission on direct sales.
