Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets for assigned financial products and services, managing and growing a portfolio of customers, and developing strong relationships with key clients and distribution partners. The role includes leading and mentoring a sales team, setting performance goals, monitoring daily activities, and providing regular coaching and feedback. The Sales Manager will analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to design and execute local sales campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities also include preparing sales reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and representing Aditya Birla Capital’s values in all customer interactions.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or business development within financial services or a related sector, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team, including goal setting, performance management, and coaching.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, including prospecting, needs assessment, solution presentation, and negotiation.
  • Solid understanding of financial products and services (e.g., loans, insurance, investments) and the ability to explain them clearly to customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities, including comfort with sales metrics, pipelines, and forecasting tools.
  • High level of integrity, customer-centric mindset, and commitment to compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area and travel within the region as required for client and partner meetings.
