Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage data and reporting for Residential Whole Loan Trading Desk transactions related to purchasing, exiting and maintaining trade positions by analyzing loan data and reports related to pools of residential mortgage loans for bids, purchases and exits
- Manage data and reporting for the Secured Lending group in financing assets by analyzing data and reports related to loans for warehouse financing
- Manage and analyze data and reporting for the Global Capital Markets related to various asset types for securitization and other opportunities
- Normalize data including analyzing, scrubbing, implementing calculations, generating reports, performing validations and quality control tests
- Assist in report creation and analysis
- Skills Required:Strong quantitative, analytical, and modeling skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- CAS Software preferred
- Proficient in building SQL queries
- Proficient in building Power BI reports
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to think strategically and thrive in a dynamic work environment
- Pro-active and results oriented mind-set
- Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively within a global team
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage terms preferred
