We are looking for a Financial Markets & Valuation Analyst who will:

  • Support the valuation governance and control framework for financial products traded across Capital Markets.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of valuation-related processes, including Non-Standard Bookings, IFRS13 Levelling and Day One Profit.
  • Produce and analyse valuation data to support decision-making and governance committees.
  • Develop reporting, data quality and analytical tools to enhance valuation oversight and control activities.
  • Assist in the review of valuation controls and ensure they are properly documented, effective and exhaustive.
  • Contribute to the assessment of fair value adjustment methodologies and control frameworks.
  • Support the preparation of information presented to valuation governance committees.
  • Collaborate with teams across Finance, Risk, Valuation Control and Front Office functions.
  • Participate in the monitoring and analysis of valuation-related risks and management indicators.

What we're looking for:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably within banking, audit, consulting, valuation control or risk functions.
  • Understanding of Fixed Income and/or Equity Derivatives products (bonds, stocks, swaps, forwards, futures, options and repos).
  • Knowledge of risk concepts such as Delta, Vega, VaR and other market risk indicators.
  • Understanding of valuation processes, financial markets and control frameworks.
  • Familiarity with internal control environments and governance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Excel and VBA.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with Access is considered a plus.
  • Degree in Finance, Financial Markets, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Economics or similar fields.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Location: Lisbon | Hybrid

Level of Experience: Mid-Level (2–5 years)

Salary Package & Benefits: €1,200 to €2,000 (salary base) + Food Allowance + Flex Benefits
