Planet Pharma is currently partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner / Workforce Planning Lead. This opportunity is available on a permanent or freelance/contract basis, offering flexibility depending on your preference.
The Role
This is a high-impact position within a dynamic R&D environment, where you will support strategic financial planning and workforce strategy across a large organisation. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to drive business performance, headcount planning, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead headcount planning, balancing demand vs capacity across 800–2000 employees
- Provide financial support within R&D/discovery, enabling business teams to manage and optimise their budgets
- Act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, supporting growth plans and portfolio decisions
- Ensure intentional and scalable workforce planning aligned with business needs
- Drive commercial understanding and provide insights to support decision-making
- Deliver ad-hoc financial and strategic analyses as required
Your Profile
- Background in pharma and/or R&D environments
- Strong experience in financial planning, workforce/headcount strategy, and business partnering
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Proactive, energetic, and commercially minded approach
- Strong communication and analytical skills
