Role Description The Private Wealth Advisor role is a full-time remote position responsible for delivering personalized, independent financial advice to a diverse, international client base. Day-to-day activities include assessing clients’ financial situations and goals, recommending tailored strategies for investments, retirement, estate planning, and insurance, and regularly reviewing portfolios to ensure alignment with objectives and risk tolerance. The advisor will build and maintain long-term client relationships, conduct market and product research, and stay informed about global financial trends and regulatory developments. The role also involves collaborating with internal specialists, preparing clear financial plans and reports, and using digital tools to communicate with clients and support their decision-making. Advisors are expected to work proactively to expand their client network and contribute to deVere Group’s ongoing growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Financial Planning and Investments, with the ability to design and implement comprehensive wealth management strategies.
  • Experience in Estate Planning and related long-term succession and inheritance solutions for clients.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent, or active progress toward such qualifications.
  • Proven Business Relationship Management skills, including building, maintaining, and growing client portfolios in a financial services environment.
  • Solid understanding of international financial products and services, including retirement planning, insurance, and digital assets.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in accessible terms.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working remotely, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or additional licenses are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory, preferably with international or expatriate clients.
