About The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst (Reporting & Analytics) at SCT plays a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and operational insights of the organization. This position supports the preparation and analysis of financial reports, consolidations, and key performance indicators that inform decision-making at the executive level. The role involves leading monthly management reporting, preparing board-ready presentations, and ensuring compliance with financial standards such as U.S. GAAP. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with various departments, including Accounting, Operations, and Revenue Cycle, to translate complex financial data into clear narratives and actionable insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence organizational growth and efficiency through advanced analytics, automation, and process improvements within a dynamic, private-equity-backed environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting, or a similar analytical role. A strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation is essential. Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with reporting systems or automation tools such as QuickBooks Online, LiveFlow, Fathom, or similar platforms are required. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills to clearly articulate financial performance and forecasts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working in a private equity-backed healthcare environment is preferred, along with a proven track record of process improvement and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the consolidation and validation of financial results across multiple entities within the organization.
  • Review and prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for management review.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to validate underlying data before reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly adjusted EBITDA calculations, supporting schedules, and reconciliations to GAAP results.
  • Develop net income to adjusted EBITDA bridges and perform period-over-period analysis to identify performance drivers.
  • Create comprehensive leadership and board reporting packages, including financial statements, key performance indicators, variance analysis, and narrative explanations.
  • Support lender and private equity reporting requirements, including covenant schedules, compliance certificates, and recurring deliverables.
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle teams to analyze revenue streams, contractual adjustments, denials, and bad debts, providing net revenue accruals to Accounting monthly.
  • Assist in the timely and accurate closing of financial periods, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial outlooks to support strategic planning.
  • Maintain and update a 13-week cash flow forecast, including variance analysis and explanations of working capital movements.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow waterfalls, detailing debt service, distributions, and non-recurring items to aid cash management.
  • Drive reporting efficiency improvements through the development of standardized templates, automation, and documentation across all reporting processes.
  • Utilize tools such as QuickBooks Online and LiveFlow to automate data extraction, consolidation, and management reporting.
  • Participate in special projects, system implementations, or reporting initiatives as needed to support organizational growth and operational excellence.
