We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst – Lab Business to support the financial operations of our laboratory business unit. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial transactions, monitoring business initiatives, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal stakeholders across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily financial transactions and accounting processes related to the laboratory business unit.
- Review, monitor, and process transactions for business initiatives, promotional programs, marketing activities, and other operational needs.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, variance analysis, and management reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the lab business.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial documentation and supporting data.
- Reconcile accounts, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on discrepancies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and other departments) regarding financial matters.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and controls.
- Support internal and external audit requirements when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and transaction processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems/ERP.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
