Overview:
The Finance Associate Manager – National On Premise (National OP) is a part of the Commercial Finance extended leadership team that is responsible to work with the National OP Team to achieve the growth strategy of CCEAP within the governance & policy framework. The role will act as the key link between the Modern Trade Finance Sr. Manager and Finance Director – Commercial in developing financial strategic plans and annual business plans, monthly rolling estimates around MT volume, revenue, DFR, DME and other related operating expenses. The role will operate as a steward to support the Modern Trade team in developing National OP channels and be a key player in key customer account negotiations that will meet the growth and profit targets of CCEAP.
1. Financial Forecasting / Budgeting
a. Closely work with the National OP Senior Manager, NKA & RKA OP Group Managers and Modern Trade Manager – CIA in developing the MT category, pack, channel, geography level volume, mix, price, deductions from revenue, DME/DMI and MT operating expenses under the guidance of the Modern Trade Finance Sr. Manager.
b. Closely work with the National OP Senior Manager, NKA & RKA OP Group Manager in updating the ABP through the monthly Rolling estimates on volume, revenue, DME and OPEX components
c. Manage & control the MT DME/DMI spends within plan by working closely with the MT Marketing Manager in terms of budgetary controls and spend efficiencies. Work with the Modern Trade Finance Sr. Manager and Finance Director – Commercial in cases where BU Support is needed.
2. Finance Business Partnering
a. Monthly Business Reviews – Review monthly actual performance vs PY and targets within Finance and Modern Trade Teams. Provide insights to the National OP Senior Manager, NKA & RKA OP Group Managers , MT Finance Sr. Manager and Finance Director – Commercial through analysis of performance. Recommend actions as needed for tactical course corrections. Obtain approvals to ensure inclusion in monthly rolling estimates.
b. Execution of In-Year Strategies – Closely work with the MT Director, National OP Senior Manager and NKA & RKA OP Group Managers in supporting strategy, financial planning & customer negotiations of Key account customers through iterations by balancing growth & profit objectives. Support course correction through regular review of customer P&L’s & customer visits with the modern trade team.
c. Customer Management – Lead the Modern Trade Finance team in supporting the Customer Management teams in building relationships with customers by acting as finance resource for Commercial managers/leads, leading the financial aspect of customer TTA negotiations, etc.
d. Value Chain Analysis – Maintain regular Value chain P&L at category / pack /channel/ Geography / Customer ( Top ..) level for performance update & regular course correction decisions
e. Revenue Growth Management – Support the development and execution of National OP Revenue growth Management (RGM) of CCEAP by working closely with CIA Modern Trade Team and RGM Finance Manager specifically via opportunity mapping, developing scenarios, and NPL iterations
3. Balance Sheet/Working Capital Management
a. Support & control the Accounts receivable outstanding, aging, write off etc., by
closely working with the regional finance team and CCEP.
4. Building the Organization
a. Lead National OP Finance driven projects/initiatives
b. Work with the Finance Director – Commercial in building commercial finance capability in the National OP finance team, as well as in the Modern Trade teams providing leadership and support to the Commercial Excellence team.
