Role Description
The General Manager is a full-time, on-site position located in Fort Mill, SC. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HOTWORX studio, ensuring an exceptional member experience, and driving membership growth. Tasks include managing staff, developing sales and marketing strategies, monitoring financial performance, maintaining a clean and organized facility, and event coordination. Additionally, the General Manager will provide leadership, motivate team members, and develop strong relationships with members to foster a positive and welcoming studio environment.
Qualifications
- Leadership and team management skills, including experience in motivating and coaching staff
- Sales and marketing experience, with the ability to create and execute membership growth strategies
- Customer service and communication skills to build rapport with members and handle inquiries effectively
- Operational skills, including scheduling, conflict resolution, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Basic business and financial management knowledge to ensure studio profitability
- Passion for health and fitness, with the ability to inspire and engage others
- Prior experience in a fitness, wellness, or related industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business, fitness management, or a related field is preferred but not required
