Role Description
First Class Accounts – Point Cook is seeking a full-time, on-site Finance Assistant to join the team in Melbourne, VIC. In this role, the Finance Assistant will support the bookkeeping team with tasks such as managing invoices, preparing financial documents, reconciling accounts, managing AP, AR. The role also includes assisting with client communications and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations while adhering to compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Accounting and Finance to ensure accurate management and reconciliation of financial accounts
- Proficiency in Invoicing, including generating and managing invoice records
- Excellent Analytical Skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Strong Communication skills for effective internal collaboration and client interactions
- Knowledge of accounting software such as MYOB, QuickBooks, and Xero
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Formal qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related fields are preferred
