About the Role:
We are looking for a Group Pricing Manager to lead the pricing transformation across adapa Group — from methodology to capability building. You will develop and implement a harmonized pricing approach, define pricing frameworks and KPIs, and support the organization's shift from cost-plus pricing toward more value-based, margin-focused decision-making. We are looking for a strong cost engineer with project and people management capabilities.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining pricing strategy, cost engineering, complex project management, and change management. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Care, Finance, and Operations to standardize pricing workflows, improve price realization, and embed pricing discipline into day-to-day commercial decisions.
You will also build and lead a new pricing team, establish clear ways of working, and act as the central point of contact for pricing across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing strategy & analytics
• Build and implement a unified Group pricing process that supports consistent pricing decisions and disciplined execution
• Develop, implement, and continuously refine pricing strategies, cost engineering frameworks, and guidelines aligned with commercial and margin objectives
• Analyze cost structures, market conditions, competitor positioning, and customer value to inform pricing decisions and identify margin improvement opportunities
• Define and monitor pricing KPIs and build reports and dashboards to track performance, price realization, and profitability
Complex project management
• Lead the implementation of new pricing methodology and governance across the Group; coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Sales, Finance, and Operations; manage timelines and dependencies; and keep initiatives on track against defined milestones
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to standardize, streamline, and automate pricing workflows
Tool adoption & enablement
• Drive organization-wide adoption of pricing tools and processes, embedding them into day-to-day commercial workflows
• Design and deliver sales training and enablement programs to build pricing capability and confidence across commercial teams
• Manage pricing tool governance in collaboration with external partners
Team building & leadership
• Build a new pricing team: define roles, recruit, onboard, and develop talent
• Establish ways of working, governance, and standards for the team and the broader pricing function
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and commercial ownership
Stakeholder management
• Act as the central point of contact for pricing across the business, collaborating with senior leadership, commercial teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external partners
Required Skills & Experience
• 12+ years of relevant experience in cost engineering, pricing, commercial excellence, or revenue management, ideally in a technically complex B2B environment (manufacturing or packaging industry experience is a plus)
• Proven track record of developing and implementing pricing strategies that improve profitability, price realization, and commercial discipline
• Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• People leadership experience, including building and developing teams
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels
• Strong business judgment, with the ability to balance analytical rigor with pragmatic commercial decision-making
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
Details
• Type: Permanent, full-time
• Location: Athens, Greece
