Position Summary
An Equities Dealer at a stock brokerage house is responsible for the timely and efficient execution of client orders while ensuring best execution, regulatory compliance, and high-quality client service. The role involves monitoring market conditions, coordinating with brokers and clients, and providing market color and trade updates to support clients' investment activities.
Work arrangement
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati City, Metro Manila.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute client buy and sell orders for Philippine equities in accordance with trading instructions and best execution standards.
- Monitor market developments, liquidity, and trading activity to facilitate efficient order execution.
- Provide clients with market color, trade updates, and execution feedback.
- Coordinate with brokers, counterparties, sales teams, and operations to ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades.
- Monitor order flow and transaction costs to enhance execution quality.
- Prepare daily trading reports and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, exchange rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Support relationship managers and institutional sales teams in servicing client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in equities dealing, brokerage, or capital markets.
- Strong understanding of equity markets, trading platforms, and market conventions.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, trading systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.
