Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area for a Director of Finance and Accounting. The position involves overseeing financial planning, preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance. The director will work closely with other departments to maintain fiscal health, implement cost-saving strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Financial Planning, Financial Reporting, and Financial Statements preparation
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate data and provide strategic insights
- Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and accounting principles
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- Experience in the manufacturing or packaging industry is highly desirable
