ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
A well funded, growth stage clean energy infrastructure company company is hiring its first institutional CFO to lead a Series B capital raise and build the finance function that will carry it through commercial scale up. This is a deal focused executive seat with direct exposure to the CEO, the board, and the company's institutional investors and lenders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead a Series B equity raise end to end, including positioning, data room management, and closing
- Structure, negotiate, and close a debt facility, then own lender relationships and covenant compliance
- Own corporate and project financial models used in capital raising and board decisions
- Set capital allocation strategy across plant expansion, working capital, and technology development
- Serve as the company's primary financial voice with investors, lenders, and the board
- Oversee a Corporate Controller and the finance organization, ensuring institutional grade close, controls, and audit readiness
- Direct FP&A, tax strategy, and treasury as the company scales
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 15-plus years of finance experience spanning capital markets transactions and operating leadership
- Principal-side track record leading institutional equity raises and structured debt or project finance transactions
- Deep transaction fluency across term sheets, credit agreements, and investor rights documentation
- Background in energy, mining, chemicals, infrastructure, or another capital intensive industrial sector
- Strong financial modeling command including project finance and commodity linked economics
- Proven ability to lead and develop a finance organization including oversight of controllership
