Who should apply?
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Part qualified ACA, ACCA or CPA is beneficial
- Experience in a similar role an advantage
- AP/AR experience required
- Ability to deal with clients and queries
- Experienced with accounting software and proficient in excel
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well within a team
- Strong organisational skills
- Team player and good interpersonally
- Excellent attention to detail
Role & reporting lines:
The role will report into finance manager and the duties include:
- Process and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate matching of payments and receipts.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts by supporting the month-end close process.
- Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Monitor and manage outstanding invoices, following up with clients and suppliers as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc financial reporting and project work.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve any queries related to accounts or payments.
