About the Role
We’re seeking a Financial Accountant to join our close-knit Finance / Admin team. This is an exciting opportunity, initially offered as a 12-month maternity cover, with the intention of transitioning into an ongoing role as the business continues to flourish. Perfect for an early career accountant or a graduate looking to build their experience in a supportive and well-established team environment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will support a range of accounting and financial functions including:
- Financial reporting and reconciliations
- Month-end processing
- Accounts analysis and support
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting compliance and audit activities
- Working across financial systems and improving processes
About You
To be successful, you will be an energetic, proactive, motivated, and collaborative team member who is flexible and thrives in a fast-paced and varied environment. You will be comfortable working with autonomy and have a strong ability to build professional business relationships with all departments and at varied levels. You will also ideally have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Strong systems experience and confidence learning new platforms
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to work collaboratively within a well-established team
- A positive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
