Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Assistant located in San Diego, CA. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and management of financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Day-to-day tasks include supporting bookkeeping functions, using accounting software for data entry and reconciliation, and aiding in the preparation of financial reports. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the finance team to contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Statements preparation and review
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software and general Accounting practices
  • Knowledge of Finance and expertise in Bookkeeping tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with banking or financial services experience is a plus
