Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will handle tasks related to budget preparation, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciling accounts. The role involves assisting with regulatory compliance, managing invoices and receipts, and providing support during audits. Additionally, the Junior Accountant will collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records and assist with operational finance tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting practices including bookkeeping, budget preparation, and account reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and audit processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or ACCA are a plus but not required
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred
