Inviting applications for the role of Senior RTR Analyst
Responsibilities
- Attend daily and any ad hoc costing inquiries from stakeholders in timely manner, execution of product costing and following up with relevant stakeholders for any dependencies
- Preparation of complex journal entries, (including but not limited to accruals, prepayments, allocations, amortization, reclass, etc), ensuring they are accurate, well-supported, and compliant with accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS).
- Own and manage the month-end close process for specific ledgers or business units, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring timelines are met.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations for hicgh-risk and complex balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Perform aging analysis for inventory reports, investigating the root cause and providing action plan accordingly
- Perform variance analysis for inventory reports by providing insightful variance analysis (vs. budget, vs. prior period) to management, providing the cause of any flux
- Support the internal and external audit processes by responding to auditor inquiries timely and providing clear and concise supporting documentation.
- Assist in the implementation and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls (SOX compliance) within the RTR process.
- Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of the RTR cycle (e.g., automation of reconciliations, streamlining journal entry processes).
- Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for assigned areas, proactively addressing issues and escalating risks appropriately.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, preferably affiliate or member of accounting professional bodies (ACCA, ICAEW, etc)
- Progressive experience in accounting, with a significant portion within a structured RTR / Costing function, shared service center, or similar.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP or IFRS. Experience with SOX controls is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with SAP system and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
