This role emphasizes a first line of defence approach, championing the Risk Identification lifecycle and implementing Financial Risk programs. You will work collaboratively with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify, mitigate, and report on various risks. Additionally, you’ll ensure financial exposures remain aligned with the organization’s risk appetite as well as comply with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and report risk assessments consistently
• Lead the structured Risk Identification lifecycle sessions
• Coordinate enterprise-level stress testing efforts
• Manage and advise on financial risk exposures effectively
• Present findings to various governance forums
Requirements:
• 7–10+ years in Wealth Management risk management
• Strong understanding of Financial Risk frameworks
• Proven track record in risk remediation strategies
• Ability to influence senior management
• Deep knowledge of Risk Appetite and regulations
