Pay Rate: $72–80/hr DOE
Duration: ~3 months temp (potential temp-to-hire)
Start Date: July 6 target
We’re seeking a senior finance leader to step into an Interim VP of FP&A role supporting a dynamic, fast-moving organization undergoing a financial operations transition.
This is a highly hands-on leadership role for someone who can confidently operate at the intersection of FP&A and accounting, while stepping into a lean environment with limited onboarding time and high ownership expectations.
What you’ll own:
FP&A
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly actuals
• Build and maintain robust financial models independently
• Deliver department-level reporting and executive insights
• Perform variance analysis and performance reporting
Accounting & Finance Operations
• Support GAAP-based accounting structure and accuracy
• Oversee cash basis accounting and cash management processes
• Assist with legacy accounting cleanup and documentation
• Partner closely with accounting and production finance teams
Leadership & Execution
• Operate independently in a lean, fast-paced environment
• Oversee a small finance function including an accounting manager and outsourced accounting support
• Serve as a key finance partner during a broader organizational transition
What we’re looking for:
• Strong FP&A background with advanced financial modeling expertise
• Solid understanding of GAAP (required)
• Experience with cash management / cash basis accounting preferred
• Comfortable in restructuring or transitional environments
• Advanced Excel skills (must-have)
• NetSuite / Bill.com experience a plus
