Job Overview

The Vice President, Business Development will serve as a senior executive leader responsible for defining and executing Burgos Finance & Investment Capital’s global business development and partnership growth strategy.

Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this role will lead all aspects of strategic partnerships, institutional client acquisition, revenue expansion, and market development—ensuring alignment with the company’s fintech-enabled investment model and long-term value creation objectives.

The VP of Business Development will play a critical role in expanding institutional relationships, originating new business opportunities, structuring strategic alliances, and accelerating revenue growth across investment, capital solutions, and technology-driven offerings.

Lead and oversee Burgos Finance & Investment Capital’s global business development strategy, aligning partnership growth with corporate vision and expansion priorities.

Identify, originate, and execute high-value institutional partnerships across financial institutions, asset managers, fintech platforms, and capital providers.

Structure scalable collaboration frameworks that drive long-term revenue and strategic alignment.

Strengthen the firm’s positioning as a trusted fintech-enabled capital partner in global markets.

Institutional Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth

Drive institutional client acquisition efforts across priority markets in North America and internationally.

Develop structured revenue growth strategies supporting investment products, capital advisory services, and technology-enabled financial solutions.

Build and manage a high-quality institutional pipeline in collaboration with executive leadership and advisory teams.

Support negotiation and closing of complex, multi-party transactions and strategic mandates.

Market Expansion & Strategic Growth Initiatives

Identify and evaluate new geographic, sectoral, and product expansion opportunities.

Develop market entry strategies aligned with regulatory, institutional, and competitive landscapes.

Qualifications

20+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, investment banking, capital markets, or fintech leadership.

Proven success originating and closing institutional partnerships or revenue-generating mandates.

Strong understanding of capital markets, structured investments, fintech platforms, and institutional ecosystems.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and drive enterprise-level growth initiatives.

Exceptional executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
