Arco Talent Group has been retained by a leading investment bank to identify a Vice President to join its Energy Transition Investment Banking group. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team advising clients across power, utilities, renewables, clean energy infrastructure, and energy storage on M&A and strategic transactions. The group sits at the center of one of the defining themes in the market today, the convergence of power and digital infrastructure, as surging data center and AI compute demand reshapes how electricity is generated, contracted, and financed.
The Role
As Vice President, you will serve as a day-to-day deal leader and client relationship manager, driving execution across a range of advisory mandates in one of the most active and fastest-growing sectors in investment banking. You will mentor junior talent, contribute to business development efforts, and play a meaningful role in the group's continued growth.
What You Will Do
- Lead execution of M&A and restructuring advisory mandates across power, utilities, renewables, clean energy infrastructure, and energy storage, managing all workstreams from process launch through close
- Drive financial modeling and valuation across DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis, with accountability for accuracy and client-ready output
- Prepare and present pitchbooks, CIMs, management presentations, and investor materials for live mandates and new business development
- Manage client relationships day-to-day, serving as the primary execution contact for corporate, sponsor, and financial buyer counterparties
- Oversee due diligence processes, coordinating across legal, accounting, and technical advisors
- Lead junior team members across analysts and associates, providing real-time coaching, quality control, and workflow management on active deals
- Partner with senior bankers on origination activity, including sector coverage strategy, pitch preparation, and client development calls
- Track sector developments, policy shifts, and the accelerating convergence of power and digital infrastructure to inform client conversations and internal strategy
What We Are Looking For
- 5 to 8 years of investment banking experience, with meaningful coverage or product exposure in power, utilities, renewables, or energy transition
- Strong technical foundation in DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis
- Proven track record of M&A advisory execution from process management through close
- Ability to operate with autonomy and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Series 63 and 79 licensed
