Legacy Executive Search has been retained to recruit a Vice President of Finance for a growing, privately held industrial manufacturer (approximately $100M+ in revenue) located in the Greater Cleveland area.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is the top finance leadership role in the company and an opportunity to play a key role in shaping its next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role responsible for:
- Building and strengthening the company's manufacturing cost accounting function
- Developing financial systems, dashboards, and reporting that provide actionable insights for Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales
- Driving pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and margin improvement
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and long-range planning
- Improving ERP reporting, automation, and financial processes
- Serving as a trusted business partner to the CEO and executive leadership team
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within industrial manufacturing
- Deep expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, labor and overhead absorption, variance analysis, and product profitability.
- Experience creating meaningful financial reporting and business analytics that support executive decision-making.
- Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning experience.
- A track record of partnering closely with Operations and Sales to improve business performance.
- Experience leading ERP optimization, financial systems, automation, or AI initiatives.
- Executive presence, humility, curiosity, and a hands-on leadership style.
