Position: Vaughan Cash Application Specialist Role
ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions is looking for a Cash Application Specialist in Vaughan, Ontario. This crucial position focuses on the accurate application and management of customer payments within the accounts receivable function.
As a Cash Application Specialist, you will ensure timely payment applications and maintain accurate customer ledgers. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience, a strong grasp of cash applications, and excellent communication skills. You will collaborate with various teams including Credit and Collections to streamline cash flow management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process customer payments including EFT and credit cards
• Resolve disputes and manage unapplied cash efficiently
• Maintain accurate AR records in ERP system
• Reconcile daily cash transactions to accounting records
• Assist with improvements in cash application processes
Requirements:
• At least two years in a similar role
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Customer-focused with a record of accountability
