ABOUT THE BRAND

DRMERS CLUB is a fast-growing lifestyle fashion brand rooted in storytelling, intentional design, and community.

We create product that sits at the intersection of streetwear, self-expression, and everyday wearability, with a focus on meaningful design, elevated silhouettes, and building emotional connection through clothing.

As the brand continues to grow across ecommerce and retail, we’re building stronger internal systems, reporting, and decision-making processes to support the next stage of scale.

We’re looking for high-ownership, hard-working individuals who want to contribute to something bigger and help build the systems, discipline, and decision-making needed to scale a fast-growing brand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to become DRMERS CLUB’s first in-house finance hire and help build the company’s financial operating system from the ground up.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, organized, and excited about working closely with a growing fashion brand to improve forecasting, cash flow visibility, inventory planning, marketing efficiency, and overall business performance.

You’ll work directly with the CEO and cross-functional team to help guide decisions around cash flow, inventory purchasing, marketing spend, retail growth, and profitability.

This is not a traditional accounting role.

This is a high-ownership finance and operator role focused on building systems, creating models, improving visibility, and turning financial data into clear business recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL PLANNING + REPORTING

  • Build, refine, and maintain the company’s financial reporting and planning systems
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting cadences
  • Build financial models from scratch to support business planning and decision-making
  • Prepare weekly financial updates for the CEO
  • Track actual performance against forecasts, prior periods, and prior year performance
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis across revenue, margins, operating expenses, and profitability
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and key business insights from financial performance

CASH FLOW + CAPITAL ALLOCATION

  • Build and maintain a rolling cash flow forecast
  • Provide clear visibility into cash position, runway, and upcoming cash needs
  • Support decisions around where capital should be deployed across inventory, marketing, retail, operations, and growth
  • Build models to evaluate the cash impact of purchase orders, ad spend, retail expansion, and other major business decisions
  • Help the business plan ahead instead of reacting last minute
  • Support the CEO with capital allocation decisions and financial tradeoff analysis

INVENTORY + WORKING CAPITAL

  • Build inventory planning and purchasing models
  • Partner with Operations to align buying decisions with demand, sales forecasts, and cash flow
  • Support open-to-buy planning, reorder decisions, and inventory investment decisions
  • Improve visibility into inventory at cost, sell-through, stock levels, and purchasing needs
  • Identify opportunities to reduce stockouts, overstock, and cash inefficiencies
  • Help create better systems for understanding how inventory impacts cash, sales, and profitability

MARKETING + PRODUCT PROFITABILITY

  • Build models to track MER, contribution margin, SKU-level profitability, and product performance
  • Support marketing spend decisions with clear financial insights
  • Help connect ad spend, Shopify sales, product performance, and contribution margin
  • Identify high-performing products, margin opportunities, and scaling opportunities
  • Help the team understand which products, campaigns, and channels are driving profitable growth

FORECASTING + SCENARIO PLANNING

  • Build best-case, base-case, and worst-case forecasts
  • Model growth scenarios tied to marketing spend, inventory depth, retail performance, operating expenses, and cash flow
  • Help leadership understand the financial impact of different growth decisions
  • Support annual planning, quarterly planning, and monthly business reviews
  • Provide forward-looking recommendations, not just backward-looking reporting

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS SUPPORT

  • Work directly with the CEO on financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making
  • Partner with Operations on inventory, purchasing, supply chain, and working capital
  • Partner with Marketing on ad spend, MER, contribution margin, and campaign performance
  • Partner with Retail on store performance, profitability, inventory, and expansion planning
  • Work with external bookkeeping and accounting partners to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and decision-ready
  • Help create stronger visibility across the company so teams can make better decisions with better data

  • Able to turn financial data into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company where systems are still being built
