Exciting opportunity to join Custody Services and become a part of a meaningful contribution to deliver a high-quality customer experience!
We are looking for a new team member who is keen on efficiently handling securities trade settlement tasks, delivering high quality on time, and continuously improving our services and ways of working.
You will join an area focused on an innovative, agile, and truly customer-centric culture. As a Specialist, you will support settling trades in different markets around the world.
Daily, you will work in close collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and counterparties across the world in order to ensure smooth our customers’ trading flow.
Your working hours will be from 9:00 till 18:00. In addition, this position includes shifts from 10:00 to 19:00 that are shared within the team using rotation.
The workplace is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office.
This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania,.
You will:
- Handle custody settlement tasks, including business as usual and unusual, special cases
- Investigate and resolve exceptions and discrepancies, securities and cash reconciliation
- Communicate with customers, different stakeholders within the bank, external counterparties, and custodian banks all over the world
- Participate in proactive settlement risk management, testing of the new custody settlement system, and continuous improvement of the service
- Drive stakeholder communication and support automation and change initiatives that improve settlement processes and customer outcomes
About you:
- At least 1 year experience in settlement services
- Knowledge of financial markets products
- Understanding of risk management
- Understanding of post-trade services and trade lifecycle events
- Data-driven, experienced in problem-solving, and proactively searching for solutions with a continuous improvement mindset
- Customer-centric mindset
- Ability to cope with large volumes of complex tasks
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively

The monthly salary range is from 2200 EUR to 3300 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
