Senior Regional Vice President (SRVP)
About Us
We are a premier real estate investment and asset management firm. Since our inception in 2008, we have specialized in value-add multifamily, commercial real estate, and diversified capital allocation strategies. Gelt is dedicated to delivering long-term, sustainable capital appreciation for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, family offices, and institutional investors through institutional-grade investment strategies and rigorous risk management.
Position Overview
As the Senior Regional Vice President (SRVP), you will serve as Gelt’s principal business leader and brand ambassador in your designated regional market. Reporting directly to the Co-Founders / Managing Partners, you will oversee regional capital sourcing, acquisition deal flow, portfolio operations, and investor relations. This is an executive-level role that integrates strategic planning, business development, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Relations & Capital Strategy
Network Expansion: Develop and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth (HNW/UHNW) individuals, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), independent wealth management firms, and mid-to-large-sized family offices to drive strategic capital allocation across Gelt’s real estate funds, joint ventures, and syndicated structures.
Relationship Management: Maintain deep engagement with the existing regional investor network, providing transparent reporting and high-touch post-investment services to ensure long-term client retention.
Market Engagement: Lead regional investor roadshows, private roundtables, and industry seminars to communicate Gelt’s investment philosophy and market outlook.
2. Deal Sourcing & Market Expansion
Acquisitions Pipeline: Leverage an extensive regional network—including commercial brokers, developers, and financial institutions—to identify and secure institutional-grade value-add multifamily properties and commercial real estate assets aligned with Gelt’s investment criteria.
Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive research on regional macroeconomic indicators, demographic shifts, rental market dynamics, and regulatory updates to deliver actionable investment strategies to executive leadership.
3. Regional Asset Management & Oversight
Operational Supervision: Collaborate with the corporate Asset Management team to monitor the performance of regional portfolios, tracking key metrics including occupancy rates, rent growth, capital expenditure (CapEx) renovation timelines, and NOI optimization.
Risk Mitigation: Actively monitor macro-market risks and asset-level anomalies to formulate proactive risk mitigation and asset disposition strategies.
4. Leadership & Brand Governance
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor regional directors, analysts, and business development professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and compliant office culture.
Brand Positioning: Elevate Gelt’s corporate reputation within the regional market, positioning the firm as a trusted, institutional leader in real estate private equity.
Job Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or an MBA preferred.
Experience:
10–15+ years of progressive experience in Real Estate Private Equity (REPE), commercial real estate finance, wealth management, or top-tier real estate investment funds.
5+ years of demonstrated success leading capital raising or investor relations teams, with a verifiable track record of driving institutional or private capital placement.
Core Network: An established, active network of HNW/UHNW investors, family offices, and leading commercial real estate brokers within the designated region.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in multifamily underwriting methodologies, net operating income (NOI) optimization, financial modeling (including IRR and Equity Multiple sensitivity analysis), and real estate credit structures.
Soft Skills: Exceptional commercial negotiation, executive presentation, and leadership capabilities, with a strong alignment to Gelt's core values of accountability, integrity, and collaborative innovation.
