Position: Full-Cycle Financial Accountant Role
Join a dynamic team as a Full-Cycle Financial Accountant, handling all aspects of accounting from journal entries to payroll processing. This role demands strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
You will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, including reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger. Additional duties include managing payroll and accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with standards. Supporting month-end and year-end close processes is also crucial for timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle full-cycle accounting tasks efficiently
• Process bi-weekly payroll, managing adjustments and reports
• Administer accounts payable with thorough invoice review
• Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations
• Maintain resident trust accounts, ensuring compliance
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Accounting or related field
• Payroll Compliance Professional certification (asset)
• Experience with payroll systems like ADP
• Familiar with union environments and agreements (asset)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
