About the Role

This is a highly hands-on individual contributor role working directly with the CFO. The position is focused on helping leadership better understand operational and financial performance while improving the reporting, planning, and finance processes that support the business.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution — a practical finance operator who is comfortable owning recurring processes, improving workflows over time, and partnering closely with operational leaders in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Operational Finance

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes
  • Build and maintain financial models tied to operational drivers
  • Translate volume, payer mix, staffing, and operational trends into financial insights and projections

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Own recurring financial and operational reporting processes
  • Develop and enhance KPI reporting and dashboards
  • Improve and simplify reporting workflows through automation and process enhancements

Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Operations and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) leadership
  • Help improve visibility into performance across sites and departments
  • Support decision-making related to growth, reimbursement, provider performance, and operational efficiency

Team Structure

  • Dedicated in-house accounting team supporting AP/GL and Payroll/GL functions
  • This role partners closely with accounting but does not own transactional accounting, monthly close, or technical accounting responsibilities
  • This is an individual contributor role and does not initially include direct people management responsibilities. CFO provides oversight of technical accounting, capital strategy, and overall finance leadership

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in Finance with strong FP&A and operational finance exposure
  • Healthcare experience required, preferably in multi-site or practice-based environments and revenue cycle–driven organizations
  • Experience in high-growth or private equity-backed environments is a plus

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operational drivers including reimbursement, provider productivity, volume, and revenue cycle performance
  • Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools such as NetSuite, Athena, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Ability to improve workflows through automation, simplification, and process enhancement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights

Profile

  • Hands-on, self-directed, and comfortable operating independently
  • Comfortable working in lean, evolving environments with shifting priorities
  • Strong communicator and business partner with non-finance leaders
  • Curious, practical, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role at an important stage in the company’s growth. The role offers broad visibility across the business, meaningful exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to help shape how finance supports operational decision-making across a growing healthcare platform.

Location & Travel

  • Fully remote within the United States
  • Occasional travel required for leadership meetings and on-site collaboration

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary aligned with experience and market
  • Opportunity to grow alongside the organization as the finance function continues to scale
