Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance to build and lead the accounting function within a fast-growing renewable energy infrastructure developer focused on solar and battery storage projects across the U.S.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role within a lean team, offering the opportunity to bring accounting in-house, develop financial processes, and work closely with leadership on financial strategy as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage the internal accounting function, transitioning from external providers
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial statement preparation
- Maintain the general ledger, reconciliations, and documentation standards
- Oversee complex accounting including development costs, debt, capitalized expenses, and intercompany activity
- Track and reconcile project-level revenue and expenses
- Build financial models and support cash forecasting and strategic analysis
- Present financial insights and reporting to senior leadership and the board
- Coordinate with external advisors and oversee outsourced AP and Payroll
Experience & Qualifications
- CPA and/or Accounting/Finance degree
- 5+ years of experience across GL accounting, FP&A, and financial close
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Comfortable operating as the lead accounting professional in a growing business
- Renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, or construction experience is a plus
