ACCPRO has partnered with a leading Irish plc to recruit for a fantastic Senior Financial Accountant position. This position offers scope across financial reporting, commercial finance and business partnering with senior management. Initial 14-month contract and hybrid working model. €85k + bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for several entities
- Manage full Trial Balance of the various companies
- Prepare monthly management accounting packs
- Build annual budget schedules
- Analysis of costs and spending trends
- Produce management information on key financial performance indicators
- Ensure financial data accuracy, quality and completeness
- Key person for all capex related topics
- Assist with the production of the quarterly forecasts and annual budget
- Completion of group intercompany reconciliations.
- Subject matter expert for technical accounting matters
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with minimum 3 years PQE
- Experience working in a large complex/multinational environment
- Strong Excel skills an absolute necessity
- Experience with IFRS 16 an advantage
