Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Tampa, FL. Duties Include:
- Prepare and deliver regular financial reports and analysis packages
- Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Develop and maintain KPI reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Analyze operating expenses and provide insights to support decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Monitor financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting
- Review financial activity, including journal entries and account data
- Partner with accounting and cross-functional teams to support close processes
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, efficiency, and data accuracy
- Translate financial data into actionable business insights for stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Ability to interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial audiences
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
