The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A, strong financial modeling and Excel skills, and a genuine curiosity to understand the oil & gas business. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support business planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting, variance analyses, and KPI dashboards, providing insights into operational and financial performance.
- Partner with accounting, operations, and cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor operating and capital expenditures, evaluate financial trends, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and decision-making.
- Drive process improvements by enhancing reporting tools, automating workflows, and supporting financial systems and data integrity initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in a financial analyst position
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to pivot quickly and manage competing demands in a dynamic business environment
- Comfortable working in a fully in-office position
