A rapidly scaling fashion and ecommerce business is recruiting an Interim Senior FP&A Analyst to support the finance team during a busy period of growth, transition and systems development. The business has grown quickly and is entering an exciting phase of international expansion, retail development and broader finance transformation. This is a hands-on interim role suited to someone who can quickly get into the detail, support core FP&A delivery and provide high-quality analysis in a fast-moving environment.
Working closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders across the business, you will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business partnering activity while helping maintain and improve the financial models and reporting processes required to support continued growth.
The environment is entrepreneurial and evolving, so the successful individual will need to be comfortable working with imperfect data, complex Excel models and changing priorities. This role requires someone analytical, organised and commercially curious, with the ability to turn financial information into clear insight and practical recommendations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting activity • Maintaining and improving Excel-based financial models • Producing performance reporting, variance analysis and commentary • Supporting weekly trading reports and monthly FP&A packs • Partnering with Marketing, Commercial, Operations and Finance teams on spend, performance and business drivers • Delivering analysis across revenue, margin, returns, customer, channel and product performance • Supporting month-end reporting and ad hoc commercial analysis • Helping improve reporting, data quality and finance processes • Supporting systems development, ERP implementation and wider finance projects
The successful candidate will have experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering, ideally gained within consumer, retail, ecommerce or another fast-paced environment. Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability are essential. Experience working with large datasets, manual reporting processes, ecommerce metrics or ERP systems would be highly advantageous.
