Your new role
This is a fix term 1 year contract role.
As Senior Manager, Cashflow and Capital Leases, you will play a critical role in overseeing cash flow forecasting, analysis, and performance management for the business. This is a 12‑month contract position with strong potential for extension.
Reporting into the Director of Finance, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the finance organization and present regularly to Director, VP, and CFO-level leaders. This role is highly visible and requires a strong analytical mindset, confidence in stakeholder management, and the ability to explain complex financial drivers clearly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning monthly cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
- Consolidating inputs and key drivers across the business
- Explaining cash flow performance and recommending actions to senior leadership
- Managing balance sheet-related items tied to cash flow and capital leases
- Preparing and presenting materials for monthly performance reviews
- Supporting traditional FP&A activities with a strong cash flow lens
This role is based in Toronto, with a preference for in-office presence during standard business hours, and flexibility for hybrid work outside of peak month-end periods.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, cash flow management, or related finance roles
- Strong experience with cash flow forecasting and performance explanation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels
- A strong analytical mindset and comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
Assets (nice to have):
- CPA designation
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Cognos
- Background in CPG (preferred but not required)
