Job Purpose

Assist in the efficient provision of human resources and administration services for KLGCC and KLGCC Convention Centre. Support the implementation of HR plans, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the organization's mission and vision are achieved.

Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Lead the entire recruitment process, from job requisition to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage candidate sourcing, screening, and selection activities.
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to understand their hiring needs, establish job requirements, and create compelling job descriptions.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Manage the offer process, including preparing offer letters, conducting salary negotiations, and offer stage.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
  • Identify appropriate resourcing approaches and sourcing platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in recruitment practices.

Employee Lifecycle and Data Management:

  • Manage the overall HR operational aspects of employee career movements, including confirmations, transfers, promotions, resignations, and retirements.
  • Manage the employee end-to-end onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manage, validate, and process workers SOCSO payment.
  • Manage internship application, placement, and allowance payment.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data in HR system and updated.
  • Collaborate with HRMS team in all HR system implementation and advisory ie, HROC, Deputy, Concur etc.

Rewards

  • Assist in collaborating with HOD and Manager, HRA to handle any compensation request or checking.
  • Contribute to the implementation and manage of employee recognition programs.
  • Manage and advise employees on the management of employee benefits entitlements.

Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with Manager to support performance management processes, including KPI settings, strategy maps, and PIP.

Manpower Budgeting:

  • Contribute to the planning of annual organizational/manpower reviews based on business objectives.
  • Assist in executing and managing HRA financial and budgeting processes.

Learning and Development:

  • Support HQ team to implement technical and functional training and learning records.
  • Collaborate with Vendors to executive core training for Service / Frontliners.
  • Manage and keep update the Leisure product knowledge and customer service training.
  • Participate in the annual Training Needs data gathering and program design.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Support the enforcement of Leisure Business Units procedures, guidelines, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Assist in communicating, interpreting, and overseeing the execution of the Codes of Business within the working team.

Industrial Relations

  • Collaborate with HQ to assist in overseeing the proper application of HR policies and relevant laws.
  • Participate in conducting investigations into employee complaints or allegations.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations.

Foreign Worker Monitoring

  • For departments using service providers, ensure compliance with set SOPs and oversee attendance monitoring and legitimacy by respective departments and security.
  • For direct hiring with Immigration, manage the overall end-to-end process, employment arrangement, managing appointed third-party administration, and permit validity.

HR Operations Reporting

  • Provide regular reports on all HR matters, especially recruitment activities, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate pipeline status.

Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Lead Staff Welfare Committee, guiding in ensuring harmonious employee relations through consistent improvement interventions and staff activities.
  • Support internal communication efforts and the implementation of HRA changes/initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant HR experience, with exposure to recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR operations and employee relations.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations practices, statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems (e.g., HRMS, attendance management systems, recruitment platforms).
  • Experience in the hospitality, leisure, club, hotel, or service industry will be an added advantage.
