About Us

Damora Therapeutics is an innovative biotechnology company that aims to fundamentally redefine care for people with hematologic disorders. We are advancing a new generation of biologics to treat mutant calreticulin-driven myeloproliferative neoplasms, including essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis, where there is significant medical need for new disease-modifying treatments. With multiple programs with best-in-class potential on track to enter clinical development in 2026, our goal is to rapidly bring forward optimized treatments with broad mutation coverage and exceptional convenience to dramatically improve patient outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to join a science-driven company at a formative stage, where early clinical data will directly shape development strategy and drive long-term value. The right candidate will join a team with significant early- and late-stage development experience, with the goal of quickly moving through dose escalation/expansion into pivotal trials.

The Role

As the Senior Director of Investor Relations, you will be the architect of Damora’s clinical and corporate narrative, ensuring the investment community fully grasps the value of our development programs. Reporting to the COO, you will serve as the primary bridge to institutional investors and sellside analysts, strategically elevating our market profile to foster credibility, expand the shareholder base and ultimately drive stock performance.

In lockstep with the Executive Team and Board, you will define and broadcast a high-growth equity story that highlights our competitive edge, scientific rigor, and strategic priorities. You will act as a high-level advisor on market sentiment, valuation drivers, and capital allocation, providing the data-driven insights necessary to navigate the complexities of the biotech capital markets. Operating with significant autonomy and enterprise-wide influence, you will ensure our clinical progress and long-term ambitions are communicated with precision, transparency, and sophisticated judgment.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Executive Team to develop, articulate, and continuously refine a clear, differentiated, and durable equity story aligned to Damora’s long-term strategy and value creation priorities.
  • Own and evolve the Investor Relations strategy and annual operating plan, including investor targeting, engagement cadence, and conference participation.
  • Advise the CEO and CFO on valuation, market expectations, shareholder composition, peer positioning, and investor sentiment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buy-side and sell-side analysts, institutional investors, and other key market stakeholders. Routinely gather and interpret external insights, and share them with the Executive Team to inform business planning and strategy.
  • Lead investor roadshows, conferences, investor days, and strategic investor meetings; ensure senior leader preparedness and message alignment.
  • Oversee investor targeting, shareholder analysis, and perception measurement activities; translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Continue to grow the company’s sellside coverage and foster positive relationships with covering analysts, strategically leveraging corporate access activities and other tools. Closely monitor and appropriately manage sellside modeling issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitor market trends, macroeconomic conditions, competitor activity, and industry developments; provide regular insights and executive-ready briefings to leadership and the Board.
  • Lead end-to-end quarterly earnings preparation and execution, including messaging, scripts, Q&A, investor presentations, press releases, and analyst engagement.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous disclosure governance and controls to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant communications across jurisdictions.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and oversee preparation of investor materials and public documents and maintain an enterprise-wide review and approval process for external-facing IR content.
  • Support preparation of the Annual Report, earnings materials, shareholder meeting materials, and other required disclosures. In addition, define a right-sized ESG strategy to meet the needs of shareholders and be sustainable for the company.
  • Own and manage the IR function end-to-end, including budget, external advisors, perception study partners, and IR service providers; build scalable processes aligned with the company’s growth trajectory.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, or related field; MBA, PhD, or equivalent designation is highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or capital markets, with meaningful exposure to publicly traded life sciences companies and deep understanding of what can drive and undermine value in the eyes of investors.
  • Demonstrated ability to own an IR program end-to-end and advise/influence at the executive level to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. securities regulations, disclosure governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; experienced in earnings preparation and external communications for a public company, and experience and comfort delivering the corporate story in group and individual meetings.
  • Strong analytical capability, including comfort with financial models and investor/analyst valuation methodologies.
  • Executive presence and proven ability to engage effectively with senior executives, Boards of Directors, and sophisticated institutional investors.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and external advisors.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and composure under pressure.
