Job Summary
We are seeking skilled contractors to support the Business Process Management substream for a large-scale business transformation in the Investment Management sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business process mapping and non-SOC internal and fraud controls identification, documentation and gap analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in walkthroughs with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop, update, and validate comprehensive end to end L/L workflows, ensuring documentation accurately reflects future state operating models.
Analyze workflows to identify, document, and assess key operational and fraud controls, facilitating alignment between process documentation and control design and ensuring controls are appropriately embedded within documented workflows.
Document identified non SOC controls in the Control Inventory Tracker in accordance with established standards. Support control challenge discussions and highlighting critical control gaps with recommended mitigation approaches.
Apply and share industry leading practices related to process and workflow documentation, control identification, and control design.
Provide hands on delivery support to the Business Process Management (BPM) team to support program timelines and outcomes.
Required Skills
Proven experience creating L/L business process maps and performing control identification and gap analysis
Experience leading or participating in process and control walkthroughs with business stakeholders
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process weaknesses and control gaps
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear, decision-ready documentation
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with investment operations platforms and integrations, including Aladdin and/or Sim Corp environments
Two or more years of experience in a Business Analyst role, particularly within process documentation, requirements analysis, or business transformation initiatives
Prior experience within the financial services or investment management industry
Exposure to enterprise transformation programs or large-scale system implementations
