Let's talk about the role
Our company is looking for a Senior Accounting & Finance Specialist to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will take an active role in the daily financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, supporting financial reporting, coordinating key accounting processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. This role is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience who are ready to take on increased ownership and responsibility within a dynamic and growing organization.
Responsibilities
📄 Record and review purchase invoices, expenses, and financial transactions in the ERP system
🧾 Manage the issuance and control of sales invoices and related documentation
🔍 Perform customer, supplier, and bank reconciliations while ensuring data accuracy
💳 Monitor incoming and outgoing payments and support cash flow activities
☁️ Oversee the review and monitoring of myData submissions
📂 Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company procedures
📊 Support month-end and year-end closing activities, accruals, and reconciliations
📈 Assist in the preparation of financial reports, analyses, and management information
🤝 Coordinate with the external accountant, auditors, and internal departments to ensure efficient financial processes
📞 Monitor outstanding receivables and payables, following up where necessary
✅ Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and support the implementation of best practices
Required Qualifications
🎓 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
📅 3–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance department
📚 Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping entries
🧾 Good knowledge of VAT regulations and the myData platform
💻 Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
⚙️ Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of SoftOne will be considered an asset)
🌍 Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
🎯 Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
🤝 Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities
