Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close
- Ensure accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Manage revenue recognition and internal financial reporting
- Review and code credit card transactions for proper general ledger classification
- Oversee and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements
- Maintain accurate accounting records and internal controls
- Support external audits by preparing required documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and operational improvements
- Partner with leadership on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of experience, ideally coming from public accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial close processes
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
- Comfortable with occasional travel
