Job Description

Supporting world-class commercial operations takes strong financial leadership, and our client is expanding its Trade Management team to strengthen customer account governance across international markets. The TM Part Leader plays a strategic role in managing complex customer accounts, mitigating financial risks, and driving operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration. Your Daily Tasks

Team / Part Leadership & Account Governance

  • Serve as the primary owner of assigned key customer accounts, ensuring account stability and compliance.
  • Monitor account-specific KPIs, claim status, long-term chargeback exposure, and overall performance.
  • Drive issue identification, risk mitigation, and resolution in collaboration with Sales, AR, Finance, and HQ teams.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and day-to-day support to TM Specialists within the assigned area.

Commercial Terms & Contract Management

  • Oversee trade terms, customer contracts, annual agreements, and commercial conditions.
  • Implement agreed commercial terms while identifying financial risks and process gaps.
  • Support contract reviews and provide financial impact assessments as required.

Stakeholder & Escalation Management

  • Act as the primary contact for complex customer claims, audit requests, and cross-functional inquiries.
  • Manage escalations proactively and coordinate timely resolutions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with Sales, AR, Tax, Finance, HQ, and customer representatives.

Audit & Compliance Management

  • Support internal and external audits involving claims, deductions, accruals, and commercial agreements.
  • Maintain compliance with HQ guidelines, local regulations, and internal control requirements.
  • Maintain audit readiness through accurate documentation and evidence management.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare and present management reports on account performance, claim status, chargeback risks, and key business issues.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance transparency, efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and reporting improvements.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3-5 years of experience in Trade Management, Accounts Receivable, Finance Operations, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of customer claims, chargeback management, commercial agreements, and financial controls
  • Proven ability to resolve complex operational and financial issues independently
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and customer relationships
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
  • Fluent in English; German language proficiency is an advantage
