Bevatel Agency is hiring a high-caliber Senior Accountant for Travel&Toursim Project OTA inside Ocoda agency to lead our expansion across the GCC market.
The Mission:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with solid experience in the travel and tourism sector within the Saudi market. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with travel accounting cycles, and proven ability to manage and lead an accounting team while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and industry-specific requirements.
Job Description:
- Oversee daily accounting operations related to travel and tourism activities, including airline ticketing, hotel bookings, Umrah packages, and tour operations.
- Supervise and manage the accounting team, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and staff development.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) reconciliation and ensure proper accounting for airline ticket sales and refunds.
- Monitor supplier and vendor accounts, including airlines, hotels, and tourism service providers.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable cycles, including B2B and B2C customer accounts.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in travel and tourism companies within Saudi Arabia.
- Proven experience in team leadership and staff supervision.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, travel revenue cycles, and supplier reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems used in travel companies (ERP or travel systems integration experience is preferred).
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia.
