Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join UCC Holding in Jordan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Experience in construction and mega-project environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor budgets, costs, and financial performance.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records and compliance with financial policies.
- Support audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide management reports.
- Maintain fixed asset, inventory, and cost accounting records.
- Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders on financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, EPC, or mega projects.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
- SAP user experience is mandatory.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
- CPA, ACCA, or other professional certification is an advantage.
