Role Purpose
Lead the structuring, governance, and execution of strategic investment programs across the portfolio, including new ventures, capital deployment initiatives, M&A integration, and value-creation programs. Bridge investment strategy and program execution, ensuring every dollar deployed delivers measurable financial and strategic returns.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Program Leadership
- Lead the program management of strategic investment initiatives from origination through value realization.
- Translate investment theses into structured programs with clear milestones, value drivers, and governance gates.
- Manage post-investment execution, including 100-day plans, integration roadmaps, and value-capture programs.
Investment Analysis and Capital Allocation
- Build and review financial models, including DCF, LBO, NPV, IRR, and payback analyses.
- Evaluate capital allocation decisions across competing program priorities.
- Conduct portfolio reviews and rebalancing recommendations to leadership.
- Lead due diligence workstreams covering commercial, financial, operational, and strategic dimensions.
Portfolio Governance
- Run Investment Committee preparation, including memos, board papers, and decision frameworks.
- Track portfolio company performance against investment thesis and KPIs.
- Coordinate quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual operating plan (AOP) cycles for portfolio entities.
- Monitor exit readiness, value creation plans, and divestment opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with founders, CEOs, board members, co-investors, and advisors of portfolio companies.
- Coordinate with Legal, Tax, and Finance on transaction structuring and closing.
- Engage with regulatory bodies including CMA, SAMA, and Ministry of Investment as required.
Risk and Compliance
- Identify investment, market, regulatory, and operational risks at program and portfolio levels.
- Ensure compliance with internal investment policy, governance manual, and Sharia guidelines where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's degree (MBA, MSc Finance, or MSc Investment Management) strongly preferred.
- 8 to 12 years of combined experience in investment, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or investment banking, with at least 3 years in a program or portfolio leadership role.
- Track record of leading transactions valued at SAR 100M+ or equivalent.
Required Certifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional), mandatory or to be obtained within 12 months.
- One of the following, mandatory: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst, Level II minimum, Charter preferred), or CAIA, or CIIA.
- Preferred: FMVA, CIMA, PgMP, or Saudi CME-1.
