StevenDouglas has been exclusively engaged on a fantastic Senior Accountant career opportunity. This role is fully remote.
Reporting to the VP in this global company, the Senior Accountant will ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across payroll, treasury, and accounting functions.
This position is ideal for a CPA who has been working in a hands-on general accounting role managing Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Management accounting activities such as month end, Payroll accounting & Monthly reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Treasury: (Cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning)
- Core Accounting & Financial Operations
- Expense & Credit Card Management
- Accounts Receivable
- Leadership & Growth
Qualifications:
- CPA required or CPA candidacy
- Minimum 5 years of General Accounting experience in industry (mid-size company)
- Must have staffing/ PEO industry experience or professional services
- Experience leading a small team
- Strong understanding of multi-state accounting and payroll
- Hands-on experience with:
- Treasury management (cashflow, borrowing base reporting etc)
- Accounts Receivable
- Management accounting
- Payroll accounting & tax
- Monthly reconciliation
- High volume transactional accounting environments
