Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Accounting Assistant based in the United States. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, such as invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Additional duties include assisting with payroll preparation, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing support for financial reporting tasks. The role also involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations and collaborating with the broader accounting team to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
  • Experience with financial record-keeping and reporting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of standard accounting software and tools
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with financial compliance requirements is a plus
